Who, What & Why

Home Field Advantage is a sports performance and recovery facility located in Leesburg, VA.
We have over 3,400 square feet of state the art strength and conditioning equipment and recovery services. We offer team training, small group training and 1 on 1 personalized training. Our educated staff brings over a combined 40 years of experience in the health and wellness industry and our goal is to combine our knowledge with your hard work and dedication to make you a stronger, faster and healthier athlete.

The HFA Team

Mike Solomon

Mike is born and raised in Loudoun County. He currently resides in Ashburn with his wife and daughter. He graduated with a degree in Health, Fitness and Recreation with a concentration in Sports Management from George Mason University. 

Mike has worked in the health and wellness industry since he was 18, managing gyms, personal training and teaching strength and conditioning and PE classes at a local community college. He most recently owned and operated a stretching franchise for 4 years. Opening his own sports performance and recovery business has been a life long dream.

Donny Smith

Donny grew up in Loudoun County, playing football at Park View High School before accepting a scholarship to play at West Virginia University winning a Sugar Bowl while there. He would then transfer to James Madison University to finish out his football career. 

After graduating with a degree in Kinesiology he worked with several D1 collegiate programs as their strength and conditioning coach. He has been in the industry for over 15 years owning and operating his own gym and personal training some of the top athletes in the area. He is currently an offensive assistant coach for the Heritage Pride.

Home Field Advantage was exactly the place I needed this offseason. Between the resources, coaches and surrounding professional and college athletes it provided all the tools for me to have a successful offseason.  I would recommend training at Home Field Advantage for any who wants to use high tech equipment and receive excellent and detailed coaching.
